The ZukunftsEnergie research project at the University of Göttingen examines local conflicts surrounding the energy transition, with a particular focus on the engagement of young people. The project aims to make different interests, interpretations and emotions visible and to better understand conflicts as part of broader processes of social transformation.
For the research project, we developed a modern and distinctive website that presents academic content, current research activities and project information in a clear and accessible way. A key feature is an interactive map that illustrates local conflicts and case studies, making their geographical context easy to explore.
Alongside the concept and design, we were responsible for the largely accessible implementation of the website using WordPress, as well as the design of a matching logo and various publications.
The new website provides ZukunftsEnergie with a central platform for communicating the project’s research in an accessible way and encouraging public engagement with the social challenges and conflicts surrounding the energy transition.
