Wedding Film is the joint artistic project of Clara Taborda and Peter Baer, which they have been developing since 1997. Their work spans theatre, dance, installation, photography, film and performance, and is often created in public spaces. Their long-term projects are conceived as open-ended processes that evolve and change according to the place and context in which they take shape.
For the website relaunch, we developed an independent digital platform tailored specifically to the artists’ way of working and their vision. Rather than following a conventional website structure, the design draws on the logic of galleries and museums: the current artwork is always placed at the centre. Visitors are introduced directly to the latest work and can then explore the extensive archive and further projects.
The particular challenge was to find a digital form for an artistic practice that is itself closely tied to place, time and the specific event. The website is therefore conceived less as a static archive and more as an evolving exhibition space, where new works take centre stage while previous projects remain accessible.
To reflect the international scope of the artists’ work, the website is available in multiple languages. It currently presents the installation *Pohlednice z Terezína / Postkarte aus Theresienstadt / Postcards from Terezín*, on display at the Terezín Memorial in 2026. With the relaunch, Wedding Film now has a digital platform that deliberately moves away from conventional portfolio websites and provides a fitting digital space for the distinctive and process-driven nature of the artists’ work.
