Dorit Schneider has developed her passion for historical documents and book design into a unique service. With Vergilbte Seiten, she offers professional design, editing, transcription and research – with the aim of giving old and new stories a perfect form.
We have been managing their website for years and have now migrated it from a Joomla-based system to a modern, user-friendly WordPress solution. In doing so, we not only renewed the technical basis, but also optimized the structure and design to showcase her impressive book designs and projects even better. Ms. Schneider can now present much of her previous work in an appealing portfolio and clearly structure her services. The new website also enables her to regularly write short blog articles in which she will report on her experiences, ideas and current projects.
A particularly important aspect of the relaunch was the visual redesign: while the old site had a rather nostalgic, yellowed look, we deliberately made the design fresher and more modern. This reflects the development of Vergilbte Seiten – away from a focus on transcription towards a specialization in book design and consulting.
Thanks to the user-friendly WordPress interface, Ms. Schneider has now almost completely taken over the further work on her website. Vergilbte Seiten thus remains a lively platform for authors who want to place their works in experienced hands.
