Dr Franziska Heidemann and Dr Malte Heidemann combine a solid background in the humanities with decades of experience in editing, proofreading and text consulting. Under the name textbaustelle Berlin, they offer linguistically and stylistically precise support for non-fiction and specialist books, biographies, fiction and theological works – always with an eye for structure, impact and linguistic subtleties.
We have been working for the team of editors for many years and have now completely revamped the existing WordPress site. The logo, structure, navigation and design have been redesigned to make the diverse work of the two editors more visible and to highlight current focal points such as the accompaniment of memoirs and historical novels. The website now provides a clear introduction to the various areas of work and presents the profile of textbaustelle Berlin in a contemporary way.
During the redesign, particular attention was paid to ensuring good readability, a calm design and optimal display on all devices – in line with the target audience of the site. The content was revised and reorganised in close consultation, without losing the proven seriousness and restraint of the original site.
Thanks to the user-friendly WordPress interface, the two editors now maintain their site independently. Textbaustelle Berlin thus remains a vibrant hub for authors and academics who want to place their texts in professional hands.
